History

Established in 2016 by playwrights Brenda and Charles Wilbert, this Concord, NH- based theater company writes and produces original plays. Our intention is to bring highly imaginative plays to the stage. We are a traveling company. Our name comes from the period in our lives where we owned an 1826 schoolhouse and where we wrote many plays. Charles, a lover of language, often writes plays that bring to life historic figures such as Henry David Thoreau, Gertrude Stein, F. Scott Fitzgerald and Thornton Wilder. Brenda’s plays frequently have a medical/educational focus, intended for readings with discussion afterwards.
